Just imagine riding out of
the Yard up onto Braebost Hill, in the distance a mature forestry
plantation. As you ascend the hill you pass a ruined 'broch' - a fortified
round tower built in the Iron Age where the locals would hide from rampaging
Carry on over land
abundant in heather and wildlife - preparing for a canter along the forestry
paths. At the summit, stop and admire the views across the Loch with the
Isles of Lewis and Harris gently shimmering on the horizon.
